FFF partners with and functions as a management service organization that centralizes administrative services including but not limited to Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Quality Assurance to Families Connect (FCI). Through this collaborated function, FFF coordinates the programs and services of FCI to create a seamless and integrated service delivery system.
Families Connect, Inc.
Families Connect, Inc (FCI) is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated by Carolanne Patriaco, owner and founder of Families First of Florida, LLC (FFF). FCI’s mission is to partner with underserved families through mentoring, support, and connection to resources by providing behavioral health services and support in the community and/or in-home settings where problems occur, and support is needed. The agency’s goal is to strengthen the family unit by bettering their quality of life, decreasing substance abuse and mental health symptoms, thereby improving social functioning.
Families First of Florida, LLC (FFF) has a long-standing commitment to Florida’s youth with solid organizational structure spanning over 20 years working within Florida’s child welfare system of care, specialized therapeutic foster care, and at-risk youth in the community. Families First of Florida, LLC holds a CARF accredited substance abuse program and provides comprehensive trauma-informed outpatient services networking with all Florida CBCs through its six (6) service centers. A woman-owned and managed agency, incorporated on June 26, 2000, for the purpose of becoming a provider of children’s foster care services, specifically Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care (STFC) in Hillsborough County. In 23 years of operation, Families First of Florida, LLC has expanded throughout Florida providing wrap-around services such as assessment and treatment planning, in-home therapy, outpatient psychiatry, and targeted case management. Additionally, Families First of Florida, LLC provides Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessment (CBHA) services to ten (10) circuits within Florida’s child welfare system of care.
